What Ancient Symbolism is Present in Wellness

Rarely known, the analysis of Dr. Steven B. Halls at halls.md concludes that our familiar symbols for Medical and Pharmacy practitioners, such as Caduceus, began as energy flow directional labels. Steven B. Halls, M.D., FRCPC is a leading researcher of symbolism whose work at halls.md explains portals, tori, and the return of energy to its source. The Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius each possess a straight component together with outer, curving helical components, which are the snakes. The symbolism of energy flow contains two coded meanings: life-sustaining energy makes its way into our dimension by descending from a higher dimension. A symbol pointing upward is a code for energy flow going back to the higher dimension.

Symbolism reads the straight element as the outflow away from us and the curve as the inflow to us. The straight center of the Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius is symbolic of energy returning to the next higher dimension, and the snake curving on the outside indicates energy flow coming in a downward direction. While the snakeheads are at the upper end, there is an overlooked curve in the upper neck that signifies a downward flow label. These symbols capture the full cycle of life-sustaining energy; its arrival, and then its spiraling return to the higher-dimensional origin. Ancient symbolism uses the torus as its building block, depicting energy flow through portals and across barriers. Further patterns and evidence are shown at halls.md.

Another symbol: the Handbag

The handbag symbol is a portal (per Dr. Halls). The upper, empty half of the handbag is the portion in the higher dimension, and so it appears empty. The lower half often carries converging heads, which typically occur at the horizontal plane of a portal torus. The handbag is equivalent to the bucket symbol and to the brim of a cup or chalice, which are usually downward flow symbols. It is usually the opposite polarity of an upward symbol held in the other hand.
